The IDM Film Commission Südtirol will once again be in Cannes from 17 to 20 May, where it will represent the South Tyrolean film scene at the Croisette at the Marché du Film.
A delegation of South Tyrolean filmmakers comprising Petra Forer from Helios Sustainable Films and Debora Nischler from Albolina will be in attendance at Cannes. The two local film professionals are among the ten emerging producers participating in the Marché du Film’s #impACT Lab. The lab’s workshops and group sessions will focus on topics such as funding strategies, sustainable development and social change. The impACT Lab is designed to foster international co-production opportunities and support emerging producers – all in the aim of getting high-quality, impactful projects off the ground and building up a global network of sustainable content producers.
The IDM Film Commission Südtirol will also take part in the Marché du Film’s Co-Production Night on Saturday 18 May. This initiative is sponsored by the Film Commission and brings together international producers and co-production markets for an evening of discussions and networking.
