The 74th Berlin International Film Festival is just around the corner. The IDM Film Commission Südtirol will be in attendance from 15 to 25 February and will be represented at several of the festival’s initiatives.
Meet us in Berlin! The feature film project Idda’s Breath, by director Irene Dionisio and produced by Kino Produzioni, is one of 34 projects from 27 countries to have been selected to participate in the 21st Berlinale Co-Production Market. The film’s script was developed at the RACCONTI Script Lab and the IDM film fund is providing the project with pre-production funding. The Co-Production Market is a fantastic opportunity for the selected projects to find international co-production partners.
A delegation of South Tyrolean producers will once again have the chance to participate in networking events and panels as part of the Visitors Programme, which brings together international producers and industry professionals. This year, Markus Frings from movie.mento, Michela Parlavecchio from FrabiatoFilm and Philipp Moravetz from Giafatto Entertainment will be taking part.
The Film Commission will also be attending the European Film Market from 15 to 21 February to provide interested producers and directors with information and advice on shooting and financing opportunities in South Tyrol.
