Evi Romen, 2018Mario loves dancing, but making a career of it seems impossible. His friend Lenz is the son of a wealthy family, while Mario lives with his mother in a shabby apartment above the butcher's shop and does a range of dead-end jobs. Mario and Lenz drive from the mountain village in South Tyrolto Rome, where Lenz is to attend drama school. On their first evening they go to a gay bar? Where a gunman bursts in and opens fire. Lenz is killed, while Mario survives unhurt. When he returns to the village, the reactions push him over the edge. The Catholic Church has nothing to offer, and Lenz's parents are not the only ones who feel that the gunman chose the wrong victim. As he wanders through the town at the foot of the valley, Mario spots NADIM handing out copies of the Koran. Mario feels drawn to Nadim: with him and his Muslim brothers, Mario finally gets some emotional support and help to kick his drug habit. When he appears in the village in a Muslim outfit, the villagers are stunned....
