Carlos Marques-MarcetClaire and Chalo have a lifelong unbreakable bond, but when Claire discovers she has cancer, she reminds Chalo of their old pact: she will die on her terms when she decides to. Chalo recalls that the pact went further: Where one goes, the other follows. Hence, they will do it together with the help of an assisted death organization in Switzerland. When Claire temporarily loses her legs, she tells her own decision to Morgana, their daughter. Few days later, Chalo's son Manuel and Claire's daughter Lea, with their families, gather to celebrate their parents' unexpected wedding. They all know about Claire's plan, but when Morgana discovers by chance that Chalo too intends to die, she tells everyone, causing the most varied reactions in the family. The next day, Chalo, Claire and Morgana go to Switzerland and meet Inger, the organiza-tion's volunteer. In her last days, Claire oscillates between vitality and fragility as she tries to find the strength to face what is about to happen.
