Ulrike Molsen was born in East Berlin in 1973 and studied Screenwriting and Directing at the Academy of Media Arts of Cologne. She has worked as a plot developer, dialogue screenwriter, storyline screenwriter and staff writer on several German TV series and soap operas, such as Verbotene Liebe or Verliebt in Berlin and has also developed feature film scripts for TV and cinema. She lives in Berlin, where she works as a freelance screenwriter.
