After studying Art History at Cà Foscari in Venice, Roberto obtained a PhD in Visual Cultures at Goldsmiths, London, and worked as an Assistant Professor at Yasar University in Izmir (2012–2016). From 2016 he produced mainly creative documentaries at Altrove Films and since 2019 he has been in charge of the international co-productions of feature fiction films and documentaries at Albolina Film. European Emerging Producer 2020, EAVE Producers Workshop 2021 alumni, member of the European Film Academy.
