Lisa Maria Kerschbaumer studied Communication Sciences and Film Studies in Bologna and Berlin. She then worked as a PA for director Terrence Malick (2017), actress Claire Foy (2018) and actor Paul Rudd (2018). She is known for directing the web series CrimeTube Südtirol (2017). She wrote and directed the short films Der Geschichtensammler (2018), Inappropriate (2020) and Der kleine Cowboy (2020). She won Best Thriller/Horror at the 2018 Roma Web Fest for CrimeTube Südtirol and Best Short Film at the Dolomitale Film Festival. She is currently working on her first feature film Cowboy, which was developed during RACCONTI #9.
