Daniela Baumgaertl has written and co-written feature films, TV series and short films that have been screened at festivals (e.g. the Berlin International Film Festival) and have won several awards, including the First Steps Award. She studied Screenwriting at the Film University of Babelsberg. Between 2014 and 2015, she participated in Serial Eyes, a European postgraduate TV serial writing and production program. Daniela also works as a script consultant (e.g. for Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, ProSiebenSat.1, Script House Berlin) and was a mentor of the Short Film Station at the Berlinale Talents. She is a member of the European scriptwriters collective Dirty Dozen. Daniela is currently developing shows and feature films for the German and international market together with companies like Studio Hamburg, Moovie, UFA, H&V and Bantry Bay.
