Clemens Aufderklamm studied Political Science and Acting before moving to Los Angeles to join a screenwriting program at UCLA Extension. He then went to Berlin, where he started to write soap operas. After more than ten years writing TV series, he wrote his first feature film, The Silent Mountain, which premiered in 2014. He has also worked in theatre as an actor and artistic director and has been the youngest theatre director in Austria.
