Synopsis

Parents, uncle, son, daughter and grandchildren meet again for the first time in years. A family celebration of a special kind is to take place. Kati, the youngest daughter, has decided to leave her family and take holy orders. This Sunday she is to undergo her solemn ceremonial robing in a convent in Upper Swabia. This is simply unbelievable! The shock goes deep in the completely secular family and challenges its members to examine their own concepts of life and values. Why in all the world has Kati made this decision? All attempts at realistic explanations fail. Something must have happened that no one comprehends.
