Synopsis

Since her little brother Tim drowned in the sea in Rimini, Paula's will to live has been extinguished. But when she meets old Helmut, who is travelling to South Tyrol with his ex-wife's stolen urn, she finally knows what she wants: to go to Rimini, to the beach where her brother died. She thinks only there she might finally feel close to him again. And if she kills herself there, she will also no longer be dragged down by her heavy as cement feelings of guilt. During the journey, an unexpected friendship with Helmut develops, and when she finally learns of his illness, Paula is no longer sure whether her destination really is Rimini.
