Synopsis

A man with the mind of a child becomes God and devil in the salvation of his mother. The simple-minded Johannes and his God-fearing mother Mary live isolated in the Alps. When their living environment is to be developed for tourism, disastrous events take their course. Who is behind it? The mother, the son or the Devil? The answer shall come only from an exorcism that puts Johannes' faith to the test.
