La befana vien di notte
Michele Soavi, 20176 January 1991. In a snowy little town up North, children are tucked away in bed, their socks hanging over the fireplaces, ready to be stuffed. Riding a broomstick, the Befana whooshes over the roofs, bringing gifts to the waiting children. But this year, she forgets about Giovanni, who develops a hatred for the Befana. Mortified, she would like to intervene, but as the sun rises, it transforms her into Paola, a pretty thirty-five year old.25 years later Paola hasn't aged a day. She lives a double life: teacher by day, Befana by night. One night, the Befana is caught on video as she swishes around on her broom and goes viral. Mr. Johnny, aka little Giovanni, now a millionaire producer of children's toys, observes the video with interest, determined to seek revenge against the woman who ruined his life! He finds Paola, the Befana, and kidnaps her. Luckily Riccardo and 4 other pupils of hers witness the scene and go after them to save her. A fantastic journey full of hidden dangers.
