Synopsis

Franzi visits the bedside of her father, who is suffering from malaria, when she is 11 years old. Fifty years later, Franziska has now been a successful photographer for many years. She receives a letter that makes her decide to travel to Serbia in search of her half-sister. On the train, she recalls her childhood and the numerous imaginary visitors who inhabited her fantasy life back then.
