Synopsis

The village of Naturns in the lower Vinschgau today presents itself as a successful alpine tourist destination, but until less than 50 years ago it was an insular agricultural community. The film is an expedition into the everyday life of this village and a nearby field, which nestles between the orchards and hotel complexes.The field is tended by some of the older men from the local historical and cultural association, the "Heimatpflegeverein", who cultivate it as in the days of their childhood.
