Synopsis

Summer, Bolzano swimming pool. Abandoned like dead weight on the dunes of a synthetic lawn, an indistinct mass of bodies is sweating. Every sound is suspended as if in a bubble. A seven-year-old girl has fun in the water with her
father. Ten meters away, her mother is sunbathing. The little girl is afraid to dive head-first and her father wants to help her overcome this fear. In the heat of the game, he surprisingly grabs her ankle, raising her like a fishing trophy; she is now upside down, her agonizing screams are eaten by the chaos around them. The man releases his grip and she falls into the water. She is upset and marches decisively towards her father to hit him, once, twice. The man slips backwards on the wetness, and hits the back of his head on the pool edge, plunging in the water. A lady's scream alerts all the swimmers in the pool who scramble out in a hurry, frightened by the contamination of blood diluted in the chlorine. It's chaos.
