Synopsis

AMELIE (12) hates to be different than other girls. When she has one of those attacks and she cannot breathe properly she tries to ignore her illness away. When she has to leave Berlin to be treated in a clinic in South Tyrol she feels like the whole world is turning against her. Despite - or because - her fragility she runs away to climb a mountain. On her way up she meets the young boy BART (12). He does not speak much but has a big heart. He becomes her guardian angel. Together they touch the sky and see thousands of fire places at the horizon. One magic moment for both kids and their lives change forever.
