Ruth Gebhard

Short description After absolving the school of arts "Cademia" with a focus on fine arts, she started her studies at the University of Television and Film (HFF) in Munich. As a Director of Photography she shot and partly also edited several movies - documentaries and fictional. The "lifeline" "My Paradise of Shards", a documentary about an Israeli artist, was aired on BR (Bayerischer Rundfunk). In 2018 the movie won the "Ellie Award" (best movie) on the New Yorker Broadway at the "Jewish Women's Film Festival". With this film she graduated the HFF and is now working as a freelance Director of Photography and Filmmaker.
