Mattia Merlini

I am a musicologist and professor, but since 2012, I have been making music for film (and beyond) as a self-taught composer, using a method based on the intuitive exploitation of all the musical resources at my disposal, without any preconceptions or stylistic limitations other than those suggested by the form and content of the film. My soundtrack for Il Dominio della Lacrima was awarded by several international festivals. I have collaborated with several independent filmmakers in the area and I am interested in meeting new creative minds.
