A survey - or maybe, a tomography - of the global body of the Country, from the geo-physical and environmental point of view to the economic and manufacturing issues, from the socio-demographic and housing situation to the anthropological and cultural aspects. The story of a territory in its current appearance, told by sole music and images; a domestic atlas of (sometimes) unappreciated wonders, of familiar and beloved places, although often forgotten. And also, the story of people living in a highly stratified environment, between the still usable grandeur of the past and the seeming stasis of the present day. Despite everything, Italy is a country in constant transformation, struggling in the difficult race for a sustainable development, problematically suspended between the Old and the New, searching for a difficult balance to safeguard its own èthos.
