It shows the impact that global politics has left in the living environment of their families. At the same time - with its special way of presentation - the film tries to open windows towards the history and towards mutual understanding. In the year of the centenary of the Treaty of Saint-Germain-en-Laye, 80 year anniversary of the South Tyrol Option Agreement and the Reform Package 50 year anniversary the film intends to contribute to the European Spirit in this area. The Southern Tyrol self - government and its protection of minorities are highly estimated round the world. The country is well off, one of the wealthiest regions in Italy as well as in the EU. People with three different languages live together in peace, and they meet and are seperated at the same time by political history.
