Description St. Martin im Kofel (San Martino a Monte) a village in the municipality of Latsch (Laces) lying at an altitude of 1,700 m has around 100 inhabitants and is known mostly for the farmsteads on Monte Sole in the Vinschgau Valley (Val Venosta), many of which can be found in very extreme locations. The scenic athletic field at the elementary school, which has unfortunately been closed temporarily due to low numbers, is also located on the steep slopes.
