On the Costa Blanca LOIS leads a rescue farm, a Noah's Ark amidst a barren landscape. For the past ten years, the 45 year-old has been saving horses. If the animals are stranded at the rescue farm, the work begins in earnest, with her daughter Lucia, best friend Paula and volunteers trying to restore the animals trust in humans. It is an old and sick stallion that captures the young heart of Paula. But as the bond between Roneo and Paula strengthens with each hour spent together, his state of health becomes increasingly critical. The documentary dives into the world of girls, where horses are the best guardians of their secrets. Led by a horsewoman who, faced with a collapsed economic system, is not deterred by the fact that her efforts can only be a drop in the ocean.
