The four participating projects for the FINAL TOUCH #8 industry programme – which will take place from 21 to 22 April as part of the Bolzano Film Festival Bozen – were chosen out of a great number of applications by a panel of experts.
A team of experts from the FINAL TOUCH #8 industry programme by the South Tyrolean Film Fund and Commission IDM and the Bolzano Film Festival Bozen supports the participating projects during the editing and completion stages and also provides advice on the sale and distribution of the finished project.
Two documentaries and two feature films have been selected for FINAL TOUCH #8, and the makers have been invited to come to Bolzano/Bozen from 21 to 22 April as part of the Bolzano Film Festival Bozen (18–24 April 2023) . A local project is the documentary Souvenirs of War (IT) by Georg Zeller, produced by Helios Film; the second documentary is Refugee Girls (IT) by Leonardo Cinieri Lombroso. The selected feature films include Wiesenwood (DE) by Jannis Alexander Kiefer, produced by Maze Pictures GmbH, and Unspoken (DE) by Piotr J. Lewandowski.
The interdisciplinary team of experts includes Nikolaj Nikitin (Festivals), Sergio Fant (Festivals), Gaetano Maiorino (True Colours Italy – International Sales), Nina Kusturica (Editing), Florian Geiser (Cine Chromatix Italy – Post Production), and Birgit Oberkofler (IDM Südtirol – Alto Adige – Funding/Financing).
As usual, two prizes will be awarded at the closing event in the evening of 22 April: the Cine Chromatix Post-Production Prize, offering the winner post-production services in the amount of 5,000 EUR, and the TRUE COLOURS International Distribution Prize, which includes in-depth advisory services regarding an international sales and distribution strategy.
